Dharmesh Daya

Dharmesh’s journey into guiding is anything but conventional. Growing up in the city, he had little exposure to wildlife or tourism until, at 19, he began work as an apprentice guide. That first encounter with the African bush transformed his life, and the wilderness soon became home.

As a guide, Dharmesh encourages guests to see nature through the eyes of the animals themselves—how they sense, adapt, and survive. With a calm, thoughtful storytelling style, he brings the intricate web of life to light, from small interactions to iconic wildlife moments, offering guests a deeper, more meaningful connection to the natural world.
